Macrovision Responds to DRM Comments

In an interesting response to Job’s comments on DRM, the CEO of Macrovision has written a public letter detailing his views on DRM. CEO Amoroso also suggests that Macrovision take over as stewards of Apple’s own DRM technology FairPlay. This open letter can be found on Macrovisions’s website below.

FLAC 1.1.4 Speed Improvements!

After using Flac 1.1.4 for the last few days I have to say I am really impressed. 1.1.4 speed improvements are very noticable especially at -8 compression levels which is noted as being twice as fast as -8 compression in 1.1.3. Thanks Josh!
