A company called MSB Technology has some new products for Ipod users who are trying to get the best audio quality possible from there Ipod. MSB Tecnology offers modification services that “upgrade” your Ipod by bypassing the internal DAC which performs the Digital to Analog conversion. This upgrade enables digital output which can be used in combination with their iLink cradle to be output via Toslink optical, coaxial or balanced AES/EBU format. The iLink System which includes the iLink cradle and the “Upgrade” are fairly expensive at $1995.00 while the upgrade by itself is only $199.00 and is available for the 30GB and 60GB models.
