Beginning with the release of the Numark HD based Turntable that we reported on back in 2005, lossless formats started showing up in a variety of tools geared at DJs. This trend continues with M-Audio’s Torq MixLab Digital DJ System which is a starter kit for any new DJ. Included in the kit is the X-Session Pro controller and a new “LE” version of M-Audio’s Torq DJ software which is compatible with Mac and Windows. Supported formats include MP3, AIFF, WAV, WMA, Apple Lossless, and AAC.
