It wasn’t very long ago that you could count all of the DAP’s that supported a lossless format on one hand, now with the increasing number of DAP’s and PMP’s from Asia that support various lossless formats it would take a few hands.Two of the most recent comes from Gemei.

Gemei X-900
The Gemei X-900 is a PMP that has a additional feature, a cradle of sorts that contains two analog joysticks. Based on reviews and forum posts the joysticks are not very responsive but you can remove the X-900 from the cradle. The website www.imp3.net has some nice photos of the X-900.

Gemei X-21
I also came across another Gemei product that has yet to be released but all feature lists show it supporting Monkey’s Audio format APE. The Gemei X-21 is your standard DAP but for those of your who use APE this is a rare find find. At this time hardware support for APE is limited.
