SlimDevices has released a new version of its popular Squeezebox along with an updated version of their SlimServer software. The new SlimServer 6.2 software adds Wake-On Lan support while the new Squeezebox sports a sleeker form factor,improved display, dual internal antennas, bridging capabilities, automatic volume leveling, WPA2, linear power supply and native WMA playback. As with the previous versions of the Squeezebox there is support for FLAC, Ogg Vorbis, MP3, WAV, WMA and AAC. Both a wireless 802.11g and a wired version are available with the wired version being $50.00 less. For those of you on the West Coast they are hosting release parties for the new Squeezebox with more to be announced.
